Forager has teamed up with Bohernabreena Allotments to gift 10 allotment beds to 10 lucky people for grow season 2024.

Win an allotment bed in Bohernabreena Allotments for grow season 2024, in the most beautiful surroundings of the Dublin Mountains. Be part of an incredibly supportive and social community of like minded allotmenters while learning to grow your own food.

Right now, the waiting list for allotments in Dublin is up to 4 years. With the GrowAllot programme, you’ll get an opportunity to get your seeds into the ground and get your delicious homegrown food on your table this season!

T&C’s

Applications close at midnight on 31st March 2024.Shortlisted applicants will conduct a lovely chat with Feebee prior to the announcement of the winners. The winners will be selected by Feebee & the team at Bohernabreena Allotments. Their decision is final.

Each winner will receive a bed in the Forager GrowAllot Community Plot at Bohernabreena Allotments, Dublin, along with some other surprises announced along the way.

GrowAllot ‘24 opening ceremony and allocating of the beds will take place in Bohernabreena Allotments on the 27th April 2024, winners must be available to attend.

All winners must abide by the rules set out and followed by all residents of Bohernabreena Allotments. The owners of the allotments can withdraw the bed of anyone who does not abide by the rules at any time at their discretion. The rules are in place to maintain the harmonious and caring atmosphere of the allotments, so any disturbance to this will not be tolerated.

GrowAllot ‘24 season ends in October 2024 (date to be confirmed), at which point, the bed will be returned to the allotment owners and prepared for a new batch of winners for GrowAllot ‘25.

Our media partners the Dublin Gazette will be following the progress of our winners over the coming months. Winners must approve of being interviewed/photographed at different intervals to share their experience.

Other media opportunities may arise over the season, where possible, winners will be invited to take part.

Allotment beds are small, but applications are certainly open to families, couples and friends who wish to apply together as a team.

All winners will respect the special space we have and honour the spirit of community in the plot (in other words, don’t be a jerk or try dominate the space - it’s not our vibe)
